"It’s a nice, clean and modern hotel with kind and helpful stuff. Loved that they had an electric kettle and coffee-maker in the room. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the Ghent-St. Peter’s train stop, which get you to/ from Brussels. Only downside is it’s about a 35-minute walk (albeit a scenic riverside stroll) from the medieval center of Gent, where all the biggest attractions are. I didn’t mind the walk back after eating too much frites, beer and waffles. "

It's a nice neighborhood to walk around, but it's a pretty long walk to any restaurants and the city center. We did that walk - in pouring rain! - but we like to walk. Friendly staff and friendly fellow guests at the breakfast buffet. "

"This Hotel commands the centre of Ghent and make you feel like the lord of the manor as you walk in through the ornate doors and up the gothic spiral staircases until you reach your beautifully appointed room. Spend as much time as you can with the reception team as they will direct you to all the best spots in Ghent including where to find the best hot chocolate. They made my holiday perfect."

"The hotel was easy to reach by tram. Sites were close by as well as a number of restaurants. The coffee machine and ability to fill your water bottle at reception were very handy. Rooms were clean and looked to be newly renovated. Common areas were very nice. "
