"Our rooms weren’t ready at 4 pm so we waited until 8 at which time we were handed the keys to the handicap room, which I asked for, and when we went inside, the whole place was a wreck. Nobody had cleaned it. There was stuff on the floor. The bed was all messed up and they don’t have an elevator so I had to limp upstairs to another room."
"Great location, able to walk to many attractions. Rooms were big and clean. Good air conditioning and fridge, microwave.
Only complaint, chemical smell from cleaning products."
"BEST HOTEL...EVER. Staff was super sweet, house keepers cane every day and did a great job, scenery was beautiful, pool is indoor/outdoor with a slide and two hot tubs. Our toddler had a blast! I saw alot of people complaining about parking, there is a daily fee but you would be paying it to park at the attractions anyway. They also let us park on the ground level since we had a bigger vehicle so if thats an issue just ask!"
"$5/day is now charged for vehicle parking. Something of which I didn’t see until I showed up to check in. This is ridiculous because the parking lot is never full when we are there and it’s not like it’s cleaned. My mom went to the office at 7am looking for coffee by the office. They told her she had to go to the gas station! (WTH), mind you they have a free breakfast. My mom is 70yo. We come every year. I’m not impressed this year and will be looking for some where else to stay. I’m sorry Brookside that you felt the need for the changes."
"I refuse to give this property a poor rating because I have a lot of history with this hotel. Saying that over the years this hotel is not near what it used to be when I first started staying here. One of the worst things I would have to say is it no longer has a breakfast of any kind. The price of the rooms do not reflect that. Beyond that the rooms do need to be kept up by maintenance. We had a couple of plug fixtures that were protruding from the wall and could be very dangerous for younger children. The rooms are what I consider very clean. Not far from downtown so if you’d like to walk, it would be OK."
