"The hotel is located near the center of the city with a walking distance to restaurants, stores and even a large supermarket. There is a parking space next to the hotel (not an official garage). Since we visited out of the high season, we had no problem finding a space. Regarding the employees, some are very kind and some aren't. The air-conditioner in our room wasn't really effective. "The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. "Stayed for UK half term so we could ski in Baqueira, a 15 minute drive up the valley. The apartment WS well located in ielha with the Mercadona supermarket a very short walk away as are the old town restaurant and gear shops. I’ve not given 5 stars because the boys found the sofa bed too firm (although after a couple of days skiing it didn’t matter they were so tired), the kitchen had no oven and parking was often a 5-10 minute walk away which seems even further carrying many skis and boots...

Great amenities but lacking the expected service
"Hotel is in excellent condition and have great rooms. However, we were not satisfied with the overall service level at the Hotel. First we were not able to get a table in the main restaurant for dinner despite attempting to book several days in advance, this meant we were stuck with the buffet/ala carte option in the other restaurant. From the looks of it, it seems fine, however the taste was just not there at all in any of the dishes. The fish for main courses was way undercooked, and the meats were very cheap cuts and far from tender. In addition the level of service in regards to the ski lockers was undesirable and cost us a lot of time."
