Hotels near Gammel Strand

"We booked a triple room and we booked it for the spa. Unfortunately we were not able to uae the spa as it was fully booked and the triple room we had was so small and no room to move. Overall was a nice hotel but sadly rooms were too small and we wasted money on a spa hotel we couldnt use."

"The greatest advantages of the hotel are its location and breakfast. I find it interesting that “superior” rooms are the most basic and by no standards are superior. The are small and bathrooms are microscopic. But they are adequate for a few nights. "

"Room itself is very clean and was ok for sleeping 3 people. Unfortunately the toilet drain was quite smelly. That did not upset our stay."

"The Strand is a wonderful hotel in Copenhagen. The location is absolutely fabulous- close enough to everything but situated just far enough to be quiet. And on the waterfront! The staff is friendly and helpful. The common areas are clean and comfortable, the hotel is not so large that there are crowds of people everywhere. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable- I was a solo traveler and had a standard room which was perfect, but if you are not solo definitely look at the larger rooms or suites. The pricing was quite fair and reasonable considering the location and quality. I would definitely stay here again."
