"It’s a very grand hotel with amazing view of the Sakuajima. Loved the onsen! Great services and a good variety and quality of breakfast. The only thing that bothered me was the thin walls of the room it can get a bit noisy at night, but everything else was good enough to make up for the only problem. "It is a nice and quiet hotel. However, the cleanliness, need to be improved. On the arrival, the toilet and floor were not properly clean. Also there was not enough toilet paper (of course it is ok that it wasn't new), however the two rolls were almost finishing... and during the next two days they didn't supply new toilet paper. (i used tissues that I had brought with me)... When I asked at the front desk, they seemed surprised... like if I were using it in an abnormal way or in excessive...

"Stayed one night after taking a train down from Fukuoka to check out the city. Very close to the train station so I could store my luggage at the station before checking in to the hotel. I checked in later in the day after arriving to Kagoshima in the AM. Check in was very simple and quick. Desk clerk understood my Japanese/English mix. Some descent restaurants in the area. Room was comfortable for one. Stayed in many APA hotels in Japan. Inexpensive room but I’m not hanging out in the room...

"Location : just few mins walk away from tenmonkan Station. Conveniently located in shopping area. Donki is also just opposite! Room & facilities: bed is comfortable & nice amenities (skincare by DHC) available at the lobby. There is also water dispenser in the lobby Free breakfast is delicious as well Negative is only that the room given is right in front of the elevator so whole night i can hear the elevator bell ring. Very hard to sleep. Avoid room 211 at all cost!"
