"Staying here was such an enjoyable, relaxing, and special experience. The breakfast and dinner kaiseki were delicious and allowed us to try a variety of Japanese dishes. It's a lot of food so come to each meal hungry. All the staff we interacted with were kind and very helpful. "We stayed at this ryokan for 2 days, and we really like it, especial the onsen and the lady was introduce us to the room, and service us the dinner and breakfast, I forgot to ask her name, we like her so much, we hope she have a good health and happy in her life and her job, we will come back to visit her later. "Extremely beautiful and wonderful spot to go to. Not a lot of food immediately around, but take a bus over to the station and you'll find a lot. Sadly not 5-stars because expedia markets this hotel for 2-6 people per room, but when you book a room, it only does so for 2, and on arrival you have to pay to have the other 4 stay as well. "

"Onsen was beautiful and a great experience, beds were comfortable and good room sizes. Walking from the station is not recommended, especially if you have luggage. Room quality/fittings were okay. No views but the ground are peaceful. Overall, not quite the value for money. "

But they changed the room on the second day of my stay (I stayed there for 3 nights in total). Food is good and the onsen was nice too .
