"I had the most amazing 2 night stay at The Sense Fuji. The staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. The view from my bedroom was incredible - lots of chances to see Mt Fuji! I had a private session in the Onsen with a view of Fuji and it was heavenly. Everything was spotless and there was a huge amount of attention to detail - from the cherry blossom tea and toasted marshmallows on arrival, to comfy clothes and blankets in the room. I highly recommend staying here for a special treat during your Japan trip."

"I never would have believed that the best meal of my Japan trip would be French food cooked in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, but life is funny sometimes. This place is FANTASTIC! From passing Google translate back and forth with the sweet proprietor, to soaking in the private onsen after a long day of walking, to watching Mt. Fuji out my hotel window, I loved every second of staying here. The location is fantastic as well - it's about a 10-minute walk from the touristy areas of lake Yamanaka, but that small distance makes all the difference in terms of peace and quiet at the end of the day. Can't recommend this place enough. And again: get the dinner package!!"
