"Room was small, but cleverly designed to make the most of it, and at a reasonable price. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Front desk clerk was quite personable and helpful. Room service came every day and did a good job. There are several good restaurants as well as a Aldi grocery store close by. Downtown (St. Pauli docks, eg) Hamburg is a straight shot on the subway, which is an easy two block walk away. Free parking. Breakfast was average for 10 euros or so per person."

"We checked in at the hotel, which is located in Billstedt – just about a 3-minute walk from Billstedt Center, where you’ll find shops like Primark. The area has good public transport and nice dining options nearby, but it felt a bit unsafe in the evening. The hotel interior is very outdated.
