I love this little hotel! Stayed here twice now and the staff is always pleasant. I love the grounds, landscaping and vintage charm. Great remodeling in the rooms as well.

As longtime visitors to Visalia, it's delightful to see that this old place is being fixed up. Our family history with the Lamp Liter goes back decades, but we'd stopped staying here a few years back when it had really gone downhill. That's now ended, and she's being fixed up, one room at a time. We were comfy in our updated room and will definitely be back!

The property was well maintained, and the room itself was fine, but the bed had bed bugs, which I did not discover until the next morning. It was completely disgusting and disappointing.
