"This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. The property, room and pool and service was amazing, but the town itself situated in is also just one of the coolest experiences. So many handmade items included in your stay and available to purchase. The host is amazing, super friendly and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, unique and has so much character. "We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. She’s the reason that we had no hesitation booking additional nights"

"It is such a beautiful house and we were made to feel so welcome by Andre and Suzanne. Breakfast was superb, restaurant recommendation was great, we couldn't fault anything"

"Tudo perfeito dos melhores sítios que já visitei 🙌"

"We had the best stay of our entire Portugal trip here! The staff were amazing. The pool is beautiful, and the food and wine were fantastic. We ordered dinner prior to arriving and would highly recommend that experience. Everything is very clean! Plenty of parking for our rental car. We had car trouble when leaving and the staff was very helpful in assisting. We will be back! Thank you!"

"Extremely nice, small hotel. Great amenities and a very nice breakfast."

"Our stay could not have been more pleasant; beautiful location, fantastic accommodations, extremely accommodating staff!"

"Wonderful stay. Would stay again."

"If traveling by car, this is a splendid place to stay in the Duro Valley. Staff and room were very nice. A wonderful breakfast was included, which seems to be a vanishing practice in Europe these days. The hotel offers diner (not included) as well. The town of Tabuaco is quite small so dining options near by are limited. We would stay there again."

"Beautiful place with the most incredible view of the Douro valley. Definitely recommend it!"

"There were stunning views and eautiful grounds, rooms were nice. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Dinner on the balcony was lovely."
