"Clean,warm and comfortable rooms .the whole hotel needs an update."

"Breakfast has a great variety to suit all including healthy options which I usually find difficult, so I was very impressed. The quality of the food is excellent overall and the staff are very helpful. Coupe not fault the service. I did not give 5 stars because I would have dusted the bedroom better myself. Yes I am fussy, so I expect a hotel room to be as clean as my home when I pay for it. "

"Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy. Hotel is pet friendly. It says the room has a dog bed and dog treats included in the £25 but it didn’t. I would recommend taking your own dog bed. We were a bit disappointed about this. Breakfast was lovely. Had food in the hotel bar - food was fine for a hotel bar. Spa was lovely and relaxing - worth a visit. The overall site is lovely - nice to walk around and visit the bakehouse. Would recommend overall. "

"room was clean but big crack in wall , room was cold after informing them at tea time , but bathroom and hall way was warm , i was in room 4 …and bathroom was mouldy …"

"First room was appalling…. Usually every village hotel experience we have had has been first class and clean. Not the case with Bury unfortunately. We told staff and got another room which was better (club room) but still had some blood? Stain on the walls and windows were marked with hand marks but I was too embarrassed to complain again. The corridors, lifts and general areas were grubby. We have stayed at Hull, Chester, Edinburgh and this was by far a total letdown."

"The facilities were really good. The bed was so comfortable lovely hand and shower wash. Food was excellent so much choice for breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond when I left something behind in my room they safely packaged it for me to return. 5 star service. "
