"Vehicle was broken into during the day while parked at the hotel even though it’s a ‘secure’ closed gate parking. Was told I would not be charged for parking because of this and was almost charged at checkout until I noticed it. Wall AC unit was extremely loud at night. Bathroom sink, even though ‘newly renovated’ was two small for two guest and did not drain properly over two days. Avoid staying here with all the other options available in the area. "

"My mom & I stayed here for 3 nights & loved our stay! The hotel is in a great location & the staff is very friendly & super helpful! There is always water, a well stocked vending machine, & a coffee machine downstairs in the lobby, plus the best in-room coffee maker I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend, & I plan to stay here again myself when I can make it back to Vancouver! I had asked her whether the extra guest room I had booked had been cancelled; she told me at the time that the room had indeed been cancelled, and that the Holiday Inn had charged only for one night's stay, while the charges for the remaining nights would be refunded to the credit card I originally used for payment. However, the very next day, their manager informed me that the charges for both nights were non-refundable and that the Holiday Inn had fully charged me for the entire two-night stay. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy; I had to turn it off at night, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all. The floor lamp wasn't working either. After I called the front desk, someone came to repair it and assured me it was fixed; however, about half an hour later, the light went out again."
