"We stayed at the Fairmont due to an early morning flight out of Vancouver. We arrived late in the afternoon and left early the next morning. The hotel is convenient to early flights ensuring that an early morning wake up is not any earlier than absolutely necessary. There was staff when we entered the airport directing us to the elevator and lobby. The bed was very comfortable and the room well-appointed with a Keurig coffee maker. The noise level was excellent, and the staff was somewhat friendly. The room had a shower and a tub making it convenient for anyone wanting either. Having said that however, the price is high given it is just a bedroom for the night."

North Vancouver Hotel

"Hotel is a little dated but other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, room was very clean and it was quiet. The free continental breakfast is a nice addition. This place is a budget friendly alternative if you don't want to stay downtown and a only a short drive to Stanley Park where you can visit the aquarium, see the totem poles and enjoy the Vancouver Seawall. There is also a little Cafe across the street that serves up amazing deli sandwiches. 10/10 would definitely stay here again."

"Cons: Noisy from thin walls and courtyard. Portable AC unit in room is bulky, noisy and inefficient. Bathroom has a metal box attached to wall near toilet at exact spot to bash your elbow every time you use it. Why not just have a normal toilet paper roll in a better spot? Pros: Great location, included cruiser bike rental, good pub next door."

"The location has easy access to the subway and is accessible to many points of interest (Stanley Park & Granville Island). Staff were helpful and quick to assist with any issues during our stay. Rooms were clean and appropriate for the prices listed. While the lack of an elevator left much to be desired, the staff had assured us that they would be installing one soon, and had staff assist us in bringing our luggage up. Overall, our enjoyment in Vancouver was improved immensely by our choice to stay here, and I look forward to recommending Hotel Modo to friends and family, as well as staying here in the future!"
