"How this hotel is even allowed on this website is beyond me. The staff even said 'this isn't a nice place to stay' when I arrived, the condition of the room was disgusting, there was faeces in the toilet, toilet roll stuck to the ahoer chrtain, thick dust and splats and marks on every wall and surface. Safe to say i did mot complete my stay there, when I say stay away I mean STAY AWAY."

"Plenty of parking with easy access to rooms.Room good size but just needs a bit of attention. Curtains hanging down a bit,2 out of 3 bedside lights not working and some coffee sachets out of date. You have to order breakfast night before,personally dont like this as never know what will feel like,but was beautifully cooked. Easy walk into village where selection of food available for dinner."

"Super clean, comfortable & appointed accommodation. Simultaneously spacious & cosy! Quiet rural location, but only a few minutes drive from supermarket. Private parking at front door, good sized hot tub in the rear garden. Lovely hosts & cute goats!"

"No food available on site,no cameras switched on for car park safety,crack in bathroom sink with units tired . All furniture tired and old. Tv we’re old and small.coat hangers missing and damaged. Very noisy residents made it hard to sleep "

"What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again."

"The property was perfect for us. We were a family of 6 and the house accommodated us perfectly. The hosts where fantastic and left us a lovely welcoming note with a few bits in the property we didnt even think of at the time which came in so handy. It is beautifully decorated with driveway parking and overall a lovely family friendly place to stay. It was my sons 16th birthday and we had booked this property to stay in as it really was perfect for our days at alton towers which was only a 25minute drive from the property. There are a number of supermarkes within a very close drive of the house too which makes it even more ideal. I would highly recommended this family friendly house and the hosts, as both were fantastic. Thank you so much!!"
