Also the programming offered on Television are not catering to English speaking visitors at all. Other than that I highly recommend the hotel, the location is ideal. "

"The hotel is in a non-descript area. Very limited dining options within 15-20 minutes walking distance. The worst thing was that 4 out of 5 floors of the hotel are designated as smoking, and the rooms smell pretty badly (we had 2 rooms and they smelled just the same)."

"A beautiful building, restored with original features inside and out. However it has a long way to go to justify calling itself a "Boutique Hotel". The room itself was pleasant with original wood panelling and floor, but there were no curtains and little soundproofing, as well as constant street noise. The bathroom and shower are tiny and in poor condition, with no space to turn around. There are no bedside lights and most of the electric sockets did not work and supply relied on a DIY-style...

"I was here at Arif Bey Konağı during the 2023 earthquake. The building was totally safe and unaffected, I was so lucky to choose it. Even more important, the owner, Arzu, Nuri and all the people working there were immensely helpful to me, they took care of me in these sad and troubled moments, and they helped me to reach the airport at the end. They are so special and I wish them the best. You can rest assured that this is the best choice if you want to stay in Gaziantep."
