"This was a wonderful hostel. The check-in was very quick and the staff member on the desk was so friendly and helpful. We were two older couples in a quadruple room which was very comfortable. The kitchen was very big, modern, squeaky clean and had all the equipment and utensils required/needed. There were numerous tables in the dining area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend Glencoe Hostel."

"The men's bathroom was two floors below our room. The mattress on my bed was worn out and I could feel metal springs on my back. On the plus side, the room had a good view, it was reasonably priced, and the manager refunded my money when the paid-for breakfast was not provided."

We were just passing through so didn't get to explore the surrounding area but there is lots to do and see. We enjoyed the available breakfast and there is a large common kitchen."
