Fort Lauderdale hotel rooms a the Villager Lodge

"The property pool, playground and beach area really nice, although the property itself is really outdated: toilet is shaking, rooms and the whole building needs a lot of renovation, outdated furniture. In life it looks different from the Expedia. The stuff at the Soda shop was kind of moody and annoyed. On a good side, the reception stuff was really kind and nice. "

"We had an amazing view of the ocean with the ships out there and spring break was literally happening right out there. Plenty of things to do and see in rhe area. So many great bars and restaurants. Our roo. Was super clean and nice. Price was way better than most all of the other hotels. "

"Fix the elevators so I don’t have to walk to the beach elevator to go to my destination. Everything is great though."

"Be careful not to book this room. I don't know that if it's a hotel's fault or Expedia, but they will not refund your money total rip off."

"The room wasn’t as clean as it was the last time I stayed. When we moved a chair, we found a used bandage with gauze underneath. There was makeup smeared on the bathroom light switch. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It would run continuously until we realized we had to shut it off. I believe that the thermostat was faulty. Also, we couldn’t use the room phone to call the lobby desk. One of the mattresses was lumpy and uncomfortable. Since we were only there for 2 nights, we put up with everything. The staff was very friendly. There isn’t much of a kitchen. There was a keurig, tea bags, coffee pods and bottled water. Instead of a mini fridge, we had a cooler that was supposed to keep the temperature at 40 degrees but it didn’t. We put bags of ice in the cooler to keep our water cool. Also, their food and drink items are grossly overpriced. Needless to say, I don’t recommend using this hotel."

"Rooms are great. This was the most friendliest Hotel I have stay in every. I have stayed here 4 years ago but this trip everyone went out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Worth the Money "

"Airport shuttle was a bit of a joke. It only runs every hour and fills ups. My flight also came in late so it was after shuttle hours anyway. Staff wasn't the friendliest on the phone when I called to ask them about the shuttle hours. It was fine for the price and honestly what I expected."
