"This property has recently changed hands, it seems. I do see them working at making improvements. I loved staying there for years because of the affordable rooms and the proximity to the beach. The pool has always been nice! The staff has always been kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I will stay there again!"

"Nice employees. Clean atmosphere. Quiet. The free breakfast does not have bacon or sausage. A male employee opened our front door at 10:24 - we didn't like that. Hotel is next door to Golden Corral. Overall, my wife and I recommend this hotel."

"This was a good hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. They allow guests to park in their lot throughout the cruise with no additional cost, which is nice. The hotel is definitely a vintage traditional motel from back in the day, so there is wear and tear. Thankfully the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. We were also in a beach-facing room which was nice. Note: they do not automatically have hairdryers in the room (I definitely panicked a little at first). When I called the office there said you have to request it. Thankfully that was a quick fix. Also, no iron or ironing board. We were able to borrow an iron, but still no ironing board. It was a good hotel for convenience to the beach and it has a nice pool with bar and restaurant, but I don’t know that I’d stay again due to location…I liked the downtown area a little better and will stay there next time. We did not eat the breakfast, so I can’t rate that. "
