"I didn't feel that the breakfast justified the £13 price, so I probably wouldn't choose that again. The restaurant prices were about what I'd expect for a decent pub meal, and the pie was absolutely delicious – easily the highlight of the food for me. One downside was that the bar and seating area, which was the only comfortable place to sit and do some work on my laptop, closed at 9:30 pm. After that, there was nowhere suitable to work or socialise other than outside, the reception area, or returning to the room. The reception area wasn't really practical for working, and the room itself only had a small table, making it less suitable as a workspace. As a result, once the bar closed, you were effectively confined to your room for the rest of the evening. Would I stay there again? Possibly, if there were no better alternatives available, but it wouldn't be my first choice."

"The room itself was really nice, clean and great amenities. I was a bit disappointment that no notification had been given for the pub itself being closed, especially for the England game. However breakfast was still served the next day, I spoke to the owner and found out about an electrical issue in the pub so that made sense. I am about to book for another night soon, so I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Very nice hotel, lovely staff and clean amenities. One tiny grudge was that there were no vegan options for breakfast which was weird as they had vegan evening meals (the Moving Mountains burger was excellent). Shame as a couple of vegan sausages or bacon isn't difficult to do. Ended up with mushrooms, beans and a hash brown so not the end of the world and they did have dairy free milks for hot drinks. Other than that the hotel was lovely and would definitely stay again."
