"Hotel Globus was a wonderful home base for out time in Florence. Everything was walkable, close proximity to the train station and two blocks from where the taxis can drop off. Our room was perfect. We had a triple and our son had his own space. The beds were comfortable and breakfast had offerings for everyone. Gluten free and vegan options are available, and they take your coffee orders too. The staff, Dina in particular, were kind and helpful. My phone fell out of my pocket on a taxi ride...

"It's walking distance from airport but you can not walk to the hotel as it's a highway and fenced fields only! Arrived at night, area is a bit rugged but once you get in your room it's clean with working quiet AC. Taxi takes about 5-10 min/15€ to and from FCO airport. Good for one night. "

"The hosts are kind and accommodating. The guesthouse is very clean and comfortable. It was as expected, and is a good value if you are looking for a reasonable way to be near the airport and need a safe place to sleep. We left before breakfast, so can not comment on that, but we did have an excellent lunch at one of the restaurants within walking distance."
