"The room clean tidy and well appointed, also slept well. The spa is excellent but adds £20 to your bill per person. We had dinner which was ok, had issues with my steak, however it was dealt with in a professional manor,"

"Great hotel. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Parking available. Radiator in my room didn’t seem to work unless I told reception (and I assume they did something as it started working shortly after. This happened more than once). Would suggest they put instructions by the toaster at breakfast. Apart from that an excellent stay"

"A beautiful building in wonderful surroundings. There was nothing at all to fault in our stay at Mar Hall. We stayed in one the rooms in The Barn which was a short walk away from the main building and overlooked the golf course. Special mention to the super comfortable mattress and pillows- perfect! The staff were super friendly and helpful and our breakfast on both mornings of our stay were delicious."

"What a fabulous hotel, first impressions were outstanding. The drive in with the views of the sea and golf course to the very friendly greeting from the front desk. Our room was beautiful, huge and a lively surprise waiting for my whose birthday it was. Our stay was superb and breakfast was first class. Thank you for a wonderful stay.!"

"We were only at the hotel for one night for a wedding so didn’t use all the facilities. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a sea view which was really nice. The only downside side was my wife found some of the breakfast items to be a bit cold. Both of us thought it was really tasty"
