"Great resort, loved the pool, music by the pool, pool bar, restaurants, large rooms, and the staff. They could not be more accommodating! The rooms are a little outdated, so is the inside restaurant and inside bar. Not a problem at all, just could use a refresh. My one and only complaint is the cost for everything. The place is a fortune, and you still have to pay for chairs on the beach which is ridiculous. I would love to go back, but at $800 a night, it's not likely. "

"Ocean view was great... beautiful suite. Excellent pool vibe, loved the grill and DJ. Only negative is they need more pool chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We were not able to secure an umbrella on the beach. Kevan was excellent on check in. "

"Our room was very comfortable, the view was excellent off the balcony of the beach and ocean. our floors icemaker did not work for the duration of our stay five days, not even a sign out of order. Our batteries became low in our thermostat so I went to the front desk to pick up some batteries and they told me somebody would bring them up , two days later no batteries. Another odd thing was our room Telephone did not work however after three days, it suddenly worked again not sure if it was a line thing or the phone itself. Overall, the stay was nice. The pool area was nice, both pools. "

"We love the Riverside and have stayed multiple times, usually in a balcony room in the tower. We just stayed twice in 2 weeks, before and after a cruise. Four of us stayed the first nights in a 2 bed queen room in the older section and found it to be very small and cramped for us. Impossible to be able to open our suitcases at all. Upon our return we were able to get our corner balcony room which had much more room. One of the only 2 elevators in the tower section was being repaired, and on one ride up we started to hear awful sounds of things crashing, metal falling, etc. Scared us to death! That did make me very nervous every time we rode on it! Absolutely love the location on Los Olas, walking distance to so many great places to eat, shopping, and jumping on to the river boat. We wil be coming back again!"

"For the amount of money that we paid for this hotel it was horrible the room was not completely clean it looked very outdated the staff was not very friendly upon checking in at 11:30 there was no facilities to get food or water at that time"

"Beautiful property but my room was right above the train tracks! The trains kept honking all night every time they drove by - it totally disrupted my sleep. I’d recommend supplying earplugs in the future. "

"The location of this property is excellent....walking distance to restaurants and even the grocery store. The front desk staff needs more training. They shared that they were on a new system and they could not use it. We had a two reservations for March 9 and I have been trying to cancel one for weeks, but it still showed up. We were there the night before the cruise and tried to cancel it there. When we arrived after the cruise, both reservations were still there. When we left, they could not print us a receipt. We could only get one that stated $0 charges and $0 payments. Other than that, it was a great place to stay around a cruise. "
