"It was excellent value for money. Clean, comfortable. Unfortunately no kettle - but not unusual for 3 star. Close to the station so convenient for travel. Overall very good"

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful - well worth staying a night. It's not everyday that you get to sleep in a former palace! The dining room, lounges, halls are ornately finished. The restaurant was expensive for dinner, but absolutely delicious. Breakfast is a wonderful buffet. Definitely eat on the terrace so you can enjoy the views of the forest and exterior of the building. It's probably the most beautiful outdoor dining I've ever seen. The only negatives are that the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tired and need to be updated. The WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, but you don't go to a place like this for the WiFi!"
