"This was even better than I could have imagined! Beautiful apartment, so modern and updated. Everything in town was walkable. Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. "Nightmare transfer from the airport. Followed the instructions to call for the shuttle and it would turn up. Well it turns up with a different name on the white bus, people squish themselves into the 8 seats. Worked out this the was the bus to be told, tough wait for it to do a loop. Not impressed considering I’d called ahead and told it was on its way for me. Call the hotel to find out the still have at least 28 people they are aware of to shuttle. So, wait for it to do its loop 15-20 mins later - it pulls up in a totally different spot and again people start to pile on the bus. Quick jog across the car park and myself and one other that had missed out the first time get on the bus. It drives to the ‘hotel’. Doesn’t look like the photos. Told to wait, the bus driver deals with everyone else that’s on the bus - think they were people picking up cars. Then they ‘check me in’ oh no key ready! It’s 2am in the morning, hotel chap returns to the desk - oh still no key! Makes me a key then says he’s too busy to show me the room- it’s a couple of hundred meters down the road left right left right blah blah. So off I go single female 2am in the morning. Find the hotel and met with a serious waft of cannabis - delightful! The room it’s self was what I’d expect and fine. The rest though disorganised chaos."

"We were in one of the suites which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental, of good quality and variety although we did not know the kitchen cooked eggs to order until the last morning. Our main issue was staff helpfulness. Staff were generally good but we had a real issue with the attitude of the hotel manageress. On our first night we booked into the restaurant and were shown to a table. Some minutes later the manageress advised this was booked by someone else which wasn't an issue as we were dining with friends one of whom is disabled and may have had an issue with the table allocated. I was trying to explain this and looking for a better option when she turned her back on me and started a conversation with someone else. Our German guests also encountered her on arrival and were not impressed with her manner or attitude which they felt was due to the fact she thought they were English. On our last night our room had not been serviced when we returned from our day out at 4pm. We approached the receptionist to report this and she was using the computer next to the manageress who made eye contact with me and then carried on doing what she was doing rather than ask how she could help. I waited a minute and then had to interupt to report the issue. Even when we returned later it had not been done and I had to stand at reception arguing with her before the matter was resolved.We paid a great deal of money to stay here but this level of service is not acceptable ."
