"The check in with smooth. They spoke Japanese along with Chinese and English. There were snacks, water and tea available in the lobby. The place was a bit outside of city center however a very comfortable stay. I just wish they had more dressers in the room. Seems to be a consistent theme in Taiwan no dressers and storage in the rooms"
"Very disappointed. Please note the check in time… 6 pm. As I was arriving much earlier thx that needed early check in. After reaching out several times with no response I ended up booking the room for an additional night to ensure it would be available. Then they responded to me. Many things didn’t work. "wonderful art deco hotel 10 minutes walk or 5 in a taxi from the TRA station. rooms are species, stylish, with a large bed and great shower.
the room includes a kettle and coffee machine.
only minor downside is having to put you toilet paper in a very small open bin - understand that some old properties have an issuer but at least provide a large swing bin !"

The breakfast buffet was extraordinary. The selection was huge and the foods were tasty. Just don't go there during public holidays as it will be very crowded, like what we had experienced. We were there during the May Dragon Boat Festival. We were given a table at breakfast, then we all got up to get foods. When we return to our designated table, there were other people sitting at our table. The staff was very apologetic and got us a different table quickly, so all is well.
