Faro hotel rooms a the Luna Hoteis

"We stayed here only one night, before we flew out the next day but I would totally stay here again next time we’re in Faro. Sunlight house is incredibly well located, near everything (shops, sights, restaurants, etc), very clean and safe and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had to leave very early the next morning and missed the breakfast but they actually left breakfast in a bag for us at our door to eat at the airport! How nice is that? 👍"

"Room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the extra pillows in the room were nice. Room was quiet and the little balcony was a nice touch. Also the location was great for us. Would recommend this hotel 100%"

"The location is amazing. The staff is really kind. The room is very small and not many amenities. The pillows are so uncomfortable. It is walkable to many restaurants. Faro is a nice town "

"Great for an overnight stop not far from the airport but not noisy. Staffed 24/7 so able to get food and drink when we arrived late evening. "

"Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room ( first floor facing the street) was extremely clean with a comfortable bed, good shower room and very useful, well-equipped kitchen area. Unfortunately, our room was directly opposite to a very bright street light which was on all night and lit up the room despite there being blackout curtains so we didn’t sleep soundly although it wasn’t actually noisy overnight. We would stay there again - good value for money- but only if we could have a room at the back overlooking the little pool. We liked the fact that you could have free coffee from the breakfast room machine at any time of day. "

"Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We checked in quickly and were given earlier access to our room. We have stayed there before in a Marina view room, floor 3, which was lovely. This time I made the mistake of booking a city view room. We were on floor 1, facing the street. The traffic noise was awful and fairly constant. We couldn’t have the window open because of the noise and the hotel policy of no air conditioning in winter months meant it was too warm to sleep well. The room itself was fine. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good shower room. Breakfast was included and was very good. Plenty of choice. Just avoid city view rooms! "

"The location is great - very central in downtown Faro with lots of cafés and restaurants close by. Hotel is clean and rooms are OK. No pool as it was being repaired. The upstairs terrace bar/restaurant has a fabulous view of Faro and the sunset. Definitely worth checking out. There is no free airport shuttle although they do offer a service (quite expense though). We took an Uber to the airport which was quick, reliable and inexpensive. We were supposed to have a free bottle of wine upon arrival but it was never offered to us."

"Room had a terrible chemical smell and bedding smelled of super strong detergent Had to sleep With balcony door open and on top of the bedding with my clothes on. Really terrible "

"Nice boutique hotel with a great breakfast. A 10-15 minute walk to central Faro. Room was on the smaller size but very clean and had everything we needed. Good price for value."
