The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. The double room was uncomfortably small with virtually no storage facilities. The bathroom had been 'shoe-horned' in and again had no shelves for toiletries etc. Breakfast was very DIY, with a kettle, toaster, and Tupperware boxes of cereal in the Bar come restaurant breakfast area.
