"We went on a recommendation hoping to enjoy the our 3 night stay and dreaded going back to the room each night. After moving from a room that the temperature wouldn’t get below 79, we moved to a room that wouldn’t get below 78. We were told by maintenance that it’s just an old hotel and they couldn’t do anything about it. We were given a box fan to help. The hotel was beautiful, we just didn’t enjoy sleeping in the heat."
"Do not stay here! I would never wish to stay at this hotel unless it were my absolute last option! I booked a room with a balcony which I was told didn’t exist. Indeed they do exist but for some reason there must had been none available. I reserved and paid for one so that was the first disappointment of many. The rooms are as clean as could possibly be for a hotel of its age so I have zero complaints where that is concerned and commend the cleaning staff. The walls are super thin and you can literally hear every single thing your neighbor is saying. I was on the fifth floor in a double room just doing a staycation with a friend. We didn’t expect it to be five star but did expect to feel safe. We did not feel safe and contemplated just leaving in the middle of the night driving back to our homes in San Antonio. It was not an expensive stay but regardless a miserable one."
"Keep it short and sweet room had black mold and ants, didn ’t have hot water or A/C—save your money and choose one of the many hotels nearby instead of this dump. Bring it to the attention of stafftake pictures let your bank handle it way easier than trying to get anything out of them."

"We were there for 3 days and found the property clean the staff professional and the beds comfortable. We paid an additional parking fee, they said all hotels in San Antonio charge a parking fee now. Their breakfast consist of bagels, cereal, muffins, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal packets and yogurt, want more just go across Whataburger. This hotel met all my immediate needs, and I felt safe."
