"We had booked two rooms. There was no soap in either room, there was a chicken bone on the floor in one room and hair in the bathtub of the other. The baseboard was coming off the wall in one room (which in and of itself is not a huge deal but when combined with the rest, it was a pattern of neglect). The bathtub was peeling, there was supposed to be a restaurant and we even had a cook come and tell us about their “evening fish fry for dinner” but the “restaurant” area (and I will use that term lightly) had tables but there was no server, no bartender, only partially lit, no menu, no cutlery or condiments anywhere (we had to ask and got plastic cutlery) and the food came in take out boxes and had clearly been sitting there for a while before we got it. The person who eventually showed up at the empty bar to take our order was clearly out of her depth. She was nice but clearly had no idea how to bartend or serve. It was so bad that it became an absolutely laughable experience. This rating could have been 1* across the board but I am trying to find something nice and the bed was comfortable. "
