"Things you should know about room 1161: 1) the exhaust fan in the bathroom does not work so even after a two or three minute shower, there is water dripping down the walls. I imagine you will have mold issues in no time. 2) The lock on the sliding door is hard to lock at times. The latch doesn’t always want to catch in the slot. 3) the Keurig Brewer doesn’t always brew properly and it leaks water all over the countertop. 4) I believe condensation from the AC unit is leaking through the wall and leaving a puddle right in front of the sliding door. It’s just opposite a puddle on the patio next to the AC unit itself so I’m guessing they’re coming from the same place. Between these issues and the entryway construction - which I understand that you can’t control, however, no one ever apologized for the inconvenience - we were a little disappointed. It was a real struggle to get our luggage to and from our room given that we were down on the bottom floor. We are regular visitors to the Lake Geneva area and have a lot of hotel options, and I don’t know that we will return to your hotel."

"We stayed for 5 nights with family and dogs. We arrived late and the first room had an ac unit that was noisy and not cold and could not be adjusted. After some discussion they gave us a different room and the ac worked great and was quiet. Overall the room and beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. Good location just off the highway and walk to restaurants and the grocery. Lots of places to walk dogs or just take a walk. The breakfast has pretty good variety but needed more fruit than apples. The fitness room needed an elliptical otherwise was ok. They need to replace the filter on the water bottle filler as it was flashing red. I felt the pet fee was a bit much especially considering it doubled from $75 to $150 because we stayed 5 nights instead of just 4. That made the last night very expensive. All in all we would stay again if the price was right."

"Nice view of Lake. Indoor & outdoor pool. Looked newly renovated. Nice size rooms. My biggest disappointment was none of the pictures indicate that some of the lakeview rooms are on the first floor (basement) behind the pool. It was hard to open my bedroom shades because the pool was right there and people were walking in front of my window. The patio view was also right behind the pool and I had to look through the pool fence before being able to view the lake. I did talk to them & they gave me a room on the second floor with a balcony the second day. I wish I could pick a room when registering. Overall the place was peaceful & I enjoyed it but may be reluctant to book again if having a pool view right outside my window."
