If you JUST need a place to sleep and don’t mind the smell of cigarettes this is your place. Air conditioning didn’t work, sheets/bathroom/and pillows were dirty. Staff was nice enough to move us to a room with a working air conditioner after we reached out to Expedia for help.

The guys are very nice, when needed somerhing i would ask and right away they woukd fix it or get what u asked for, the overnight guy is super friendley foin a good job keeping the wrong crowds out so utd not that scary as it used to be

Check in was good. Once in the room, I almost left. Where the tv was suppose to be there was a hole in the wall. There was a light fixture above the vanity, but no light bulb. There was a hole in the bathroom door that was plastered over. The bathroom floor was warped and moved because of air pockets. The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it to get any sleep.

We checked in and found the room dirty. Sheets were changed but floor was dirty, light switch had something smeared on it, someone's hair clip was the shower bar. Sink only had cold water, bathroom door was punched from the inside and crushed the veneer, outside of door was even worse. Front door inside lock was missing bar part. Outside of the property needs a thorough cleaning with a pressure washer. Otherwise, convenient location.

The location is a little sketchy. The front desk staff were fast, friendly, and efficient. The room was not dirty but was not in good shape. One of the lights above the bed was burned out. The light above the sink was also burned out. There was gang graffiti in on of the drawers of the dresser and carved into the toilet seat. The door to the bathroom didn't close and there was only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. There was paint missing from the door to the room and from the bathroom door. And there was plaster missing from one of the walls.

Just a notch better than a motel 6

Used to be a decent area but now as of 2024 the area is over-run with homeless loitering around the parking lot and adjacent gas station. I am not exaggerating, there are dozens and one night it looks like an addict OD’d outside by the Tesla chargers and ambulance with stretcher carried her away. The bed had metal brackets that used to attach to something and my wife and kids cut their legs a few times. The shower surround had large cracks where the curtain rod had not been properly installed. The beds were fulls when listed as queens and the mattresses were not comfortable to me. The furniture seems to be about 20 years old so probably long due for some replacement unless they are going for the quaint antique look eventually? The overall cleanliness is noticeably lacking but not the worst you would expect in like a motel 6. The chlorine in the pool was pungently strong we didn’t even use it because worried it would lead to skin issues with my kids. Location is nice for Thornton but this property needs a change in management or it reflects the local labor situation. I don’t know just speculating it’s a little of both. IMP this place will shortly be a full on permanent residence housing for the homeless if it doesn’t go a different direction. If you like the location you might look in to the nearby double tree. It seems to be better managed but last time I stayed there the rooms were tight so decided to try this place. Next time we will just deal with the tight rooms
