The staff at Holiday Inn were great The bed is very comfortable We got an upgrade on our booked room and were able to extend another night without checking out Facilities are nice and the pool is excellent Loved staying here

Our stay surpassed our expectations. Great pool area. The attached restaurant served a delicious included breakfast and a great dinner menu and wine pairing. Conveniently located as it is walkable and close to everything. Would highly recommend!

This hotel was top! Very clean, modern, close to the old city and all restaurants. I really enjoyed the pool, even if we had to pay a little extra. There was plenty of space to park the car for free in front of the hotel.

The hotel is located right across the street of the old city door, which makes it easy access to the many sites and cafés. It was a great place to stay. Staff was friendly and courteous.

This is a lovely newer hotel. Decorated very tastefully, super clean, pool area is beautiful! Everything about it is top notch. Close to the city gate and the staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely stay again. 😀

Great value and comfort in Evora

Hotel is very new (Oct 2024) so in excellent condition. Extremely comfortable bed. Great value with onsite restaurant and pool (small fee to use). Easy walk thru the old city walls. Leisurely 20 minute walk to the Basilica which is fantastic because you walk up the tower and across the roof to get panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

A new hotel just outside the gate to the walled old town. Free parking on the street out front was also a plus. It was a 20 minute walk to the bone chapel and Roman ruins through the heart of the old town. A perfect location to stay as driving in the old town is hectic looking. The hotel opened in December 2024 so is still very new and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again should we ever return to Evora.

We were greated at once. Unfortunately i forgot the gentlemans name who greeted us yesterday. We arrived around 2pm. He gave us a map and suggestions of locations to visit. It was wonderful we wete close enoughbto walk to yhe sites. It is lovely. He also offered suggestion for dinner at the resteraunt attached. He explained that our breakfast was included with our stay. All staff we met were very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff receptionist, Adriana, gave us a warm big welcome and she even informed us about the hotel rewards program, which we were not aware of at first. Ana, housekeeping, always has a huge smile. No matter how busy, she took a minute to greet us. Roberto from dining was very attentive and he made sure the plates and tables were cleared and clean. Genuine employees and everyone seems to really like their job. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Kind regards.

This Holiday Inn impressed, from first impressions through to the staff and rooms. It's convenience to the old town. The hotel is easily walked to within 30 minutes from the train station, but beware the cobbled streets of the old town. Check-in was painless. Whilst we had booked a room with a balcony, we were checked into a ground floor room, at the rear of the property, with a tilt and open door onto a patio area...better than the balcony. Sound proofing between rooms could have been better, but overall not a major issue. Breakfast consisted of a small hot plate (eggs and bacon) together with the obligatory continental mix. All sufficient to kick start your metabolism. Whilst there is a restaurant adjacent, we ate in the old town which is full of delightful restaurants. Holiday Inn Evora is a great value experience and combined with it's location on the ring road and an underground carpark, it is ideal for those using a car. An on site swimming pool seems a good addition, but comes at an extra cost, being run as a separate entity, but at 15€ per room, is still good value for those looking for a more relaxed stay. All the staff we encountered were a credit to the Holiday Inn name.

Negatives: there was room for only one suitcase. Not two. Had to put them on the floor. And no place to put clothing. There was no fridge. Bedside table was teeny… about size of an 8.5x11 inch piece of paper. Room for hotel phone and if I was careful my water bottle. Positives: It’s new and exceptionally clean and very good value. The included breakfast was very adequate and offered a fair variety .
