"Very nice classic hotel with beautiful gardens in the center of Death Valley. The building is very well maintained with mid-century period decor and our room was large and comfortable. The spring fed pool is always 80deg and there is a convenient sauna but no hot tub, unfortunately since it’s cold when sun sets. Probably the best place to stay in Death Valley. "

"The property is beautiful aside from the beauty of the park around it. 99% of the staff was fantastic, friendly and welcoming. The person checking me in was not super friendly at all. Did his job but with absolutely no kindness or personality at all. At over $300/ night, some kindness seems a reasonable expectation.
The pool is beyond compare, the room was clean and well equipped.
Would definitely come back and hope for a nicer front desk staff member! "
