"Murphy's Resort is a nicely located hotel; a short walk to the lake and a short drive to the main shopping/downtown areas. The room and property were both clean and nicely maintained, and the staff was friendly. We traveled with our dog and would definitely recommend Murphy's Resort to other travelers with pets."

"This is a great hotel in the perfect location. The room with the sofa bed and two TV's was nice. However, the directv satellite was in and out all night which is understandable because there were storms in the area. The heat and A/C were also not like other hotels. The machines only do so much. When I was there it was May and I just opened the window and door to the porch. The porch was also great for relaxing."

"The property, while a little dated, felt very homey and comfortable. The room was clean, and the view of the mountains couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved the pond and gazebo, and only wish the last-minute spring snowstorm hadn’t made them unusable. It was a great value, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it to friends and family."

"When we initially checked in the night clerk was on the defensive with us. Telling us that she did not have information for us. Hotels.com was not one of their third parties. She would have to contact the manager for a password. Nevertheless she gave us access to our room. If any other problems she would notify us our reservation was may 7- 9 the night clerk booked us through the 8th locking us out of our room! I was not very pleased. Otherwise the remainder of our stay was absolutely amazing. Thank you! Guys. "

"Had to stay an extra night due to big snow storm and the staff helped make the time go quickly. Very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great each morning."
