"The staff at the property was great in accommodating my needs while staying at The Vic. The property's front entrance looks amazing and is a bit deceiving once you turn the corner to the elevator, the property shows its age. It requires the carpets throughout the hotel to be steamed or my suggestion woupd be to replace them with new ones. The windows are thin and older and the one in my room didnt close all the way. The cleaners need to do a better job at cleaning, such as taking the time to vacuum the floor, and using some type of bleach for the shower to rid the stains and mold. The beds were alright. But please change out the duvet covers and pillowcase covers. As they had stains all over them. The saying you get what you pay for applys here but the staffing accommodations helped with not changing hotels. So staffing especially the gentleman that goes throughout the hotel at night with the bin to collect laundry or bring towels, I want to thank you.."

"Room was very clean, we had the 1 bed King that had an upper level. Room had a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots/pans as well as expresso maker (pods included) and tea kettle (tea bags included). Check in desk was very friendly. This is a very eco friendly property and they encourage you to not use room service for freshening up towels as much as possible. Breakfast was just ok, some cooked food such as diced potatoes and scrambled eggs and cold food such as cereals, muffins, fresh fruit salad. The same thing was served the next day and again, they are really big on conserving and encourage guests to only take food they are going to eat and food is not allowed out of the dining area. Parking was great and there was an option to park under ground or over for $ 18 CAD per night. I chose underground for safety reasons as there was a gate that can only be accessed via your room key. It is also a great location and very walkable, you really don't need a car and we never used it as we stayed mostly downtown."
