"La Villa Balat a beaucoup de charme, située le long et avec vue sur la Meuse et la Citadelle. Parking public aisé à proximité immédiat. "The room was comfortable and the grounds were very pleasant. The walls are thin so we could hear a lot of noise from the children in the next room one night. We had an enjoyable meal on New Year's Eve but we were not told until the day that everything would be closed (apart from breakfast) on New years day! We had the most heavenly massage, really recommended. We loved the animals and the 'farm to fork' ethos and local produce. "

"A comfortable hotel, but Hotels.com needs to make it clearer that this is one of those European hotels without staff, where one needs codes to enter the building and room. Unfortunately, the hotel never sent me the codes, and I stood outside the door for a good ten minutes before a kind passerby helped me by calling the hotel for me to ge the codes (my US phone doesn't work in Europe). Aside from that pretty major mistake, the room was fine."
