"The bed was very comfortable, the staff was very helpful, it was located right next to the beach, and they allowed pets. I brought my dog and his crate so that was the main reason we booked a room here, but they charged an extra $25/day as a "pet fee". Also, the property and room were not in great shape. The A/C did not cool the room very well, the shower floor was flaking up and delaminating, the shower had poor pressure, the television/remote were not functional, walls had molding falling off the wall, molding sections taped into place, apparent mold, drywall damage, there was an exposed electrical junction box sticking up from the floor beneath the AC system, and there were flies in the room upon arrival. We were there for the beach so we didn't stay in the the room much, but we've no intention of staying here again."

"Vacay with my 3 teen boys and we had a blast! I was happy with everything but the boys weren’t happy about the breakfast options. (They’re kinda picky) I loved their pancake maker! They enjoyed the pool.. I wish it was a bigger pool though. Kinda crowded..This place is too big for such a small pool area.. I understand we have the beach but we didn’t want to be in the ocean all the time. We were facing the ocean so had perfect view! The staff were wonderful and our rooms were clean! I would Definitely stay here again! It’s close to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbaun as well. Walmart and restaurants right up the road. PERFECT SPOT!"

"I was hesitant to book this hotel because I usually only book with name brands however due to booking late this was one of my only options for a Friday night stay. I'm actually really glad we found this hotel. As soon as we entered you could tell everything was kept nice and clean, and the front desk host was super friendly. We checked in and took our stuff up to the rooms. I did not like the smell in the hallways, it smelt like a musty, mildewy cleaning product but not in a good way. When we got to the room we realized that the main light switch was the only way to control the main lights in the room. That included the power and lights on each side of the bed. So in order to turn off the main lights you had to turn off the power by the bed too. Not that big of a deal but we were unable to charge our phones by the bed, we found an outlet on the opposite wall by the desk and plugged our phones in there. Inconvenience. The room was nice and clean and I really liked the bathroom. It is modern and a great size. I also really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and breakfast in the morning which starts at 6:30 a.m.. The breakfast set up crew was not the nicest but we did show up at 6: 15a for coffee only because we needed to leave by 6:25a for a deep sea fishing trip. Parking can be quite challenging so be prepared to park on the street nearby. The hotel does have cameras so they're able to keep an eye on your car as long as you park in camera view. Overall I would say it is a"
