"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"The property was located in a nice area and was close to the town and amenities we needed. A lovely property which was well maintained. Room clean and spacious with a lovely big bed. David & Kathleen were great hosts and were very helpful and welcoming. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. It was great to have off road parking too. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again."
