"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "

"Very friendly but professional staff throughout the hotel, especially at reception. We had 2 rooms, one of which could do with painting the bathroom door and providing it with a door stop (it kept opening wide into the bathroom, blocking the toilet). Room facilities were excellent (fridge, water, coffee machine, biscuits and a box of tissues). Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and delicious food. The hotel is located in the perfect spot for walking to places. "

"This was my third stay at The Angel....love the hotel and the position is great. With the free parking and being in centre of town it is perfect. Love the shops nearby too but a special shout out goes to Steve the incredible cheerful concierge who went out of his way to help and seemed to be juggling several things at once incredibly effectively. It was a Bank Holiday weekend and so the hotel was very busy."

"Christ's College is an old institution with lovely grounds in the centre of Cambridge and it is easy to walk to attractions.The accommodation is in a modern block at the back of the grounds and was built by the architect for the National Theatre .So I was faced with a huge flight of concrete steps and no lift!Luckily I had help with my case from a gardener on my arrival and a cleaner as I left and in between I got quite fit! But I think you should warn prospective guests with limited mobility...
