"This is a Motel, the lobby was sparse, the stay noisy some concern on security - deadbolt on door was difficult to latch. - door allowed outside noise into the room. Our room was next to motel lobby - it was loud all night. Bed slightly uncomfortable. There was a dirt race track nearby that was very loud Saturday night, suggest not staying there weekends due to the noise. Hotel next door was same price point , had free breakfast and usable lobby."

"The best place to stay in Harlan. My only complaint was the mattress on one of the beds was a little worn in that it sagged a bit in the middle. But I stay here a lot and that’s never been an issue before. Staff is very friendly. They have good choices for breakfast. All in all highly recommend."

"Toilet not secure (moved when you sat on it). No USB plug ins, bathroom sink faucet not secure, ac did not work properly and TV remote did not work to turn tv on and off nor to control volume. Bathroom was as dirty( last person’s towel in back of door and poop on wall). "

"A beautiful historical hotel that made us feel like we were in the 1800’s. We loved the decor, the friendly staff, the restaurant and bar, the lovely town and the way we were spoiled. We highly recommend this hotel and the whole experience. It’s hard to find hospitality like this anymore!"
