"The Pantai Inn is truly an amazing property and such a hidden gem! The location is fantastic — right on the water and within walking distance of the seals, downtown shopping, and so many great restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and I loved all the thoughtful complimentary amenities, including breakfast, sodas, and laundry. The atmosphere of the property is charming and relaxing, and the rooftop lounge area with the fire pit was such a great place to unwind. Before our trip, I had a really hard time deciding which hotel to choose, but now that I’ve stayed at the Pantai Inn, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Beautiful property in a great central La Jolla location. I’ve stayed quite a few times- this time I stayed in the wing which was my least favorite room. The sound from the people above kept me up, it sounded like a toddler was running back and forth at all hours. Definitely not the hotels fault but maybe they need to do more about sound transfer through the floors. The wing also faces the street so it’s hard to get both natural light and privacy. I would stay again but just in another room."
