"A fantastic place! The hotel is very cool, very clean, and very quiet and comfortable. It's well worth staying here instead of the grubbier hotels out by the interstate, and the price is the same as those. Elkhart doesn't have that much to offer, but downtown is a lot more pleasant than out by the highway."
"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast! Really appreciated that breakfast started at 6:30am on Sunday so we could eat before we left!"
"First I checked in & walked into my room. The tub was absolutely disgusting, along with the shower wall that was closest to the toilet. So besides hair, it looked like there was feces stains by the drain & on the one wall of the shower. Then it was advertised how “this Hotel had an arcade which set it apart from all of the others because of this” it also stated there was an indoor pool which was true, but the water was extremely cold! I came to town to visit my children & grandchildren & booked this hotel specifically for the amenities it offered for children! We drove an extra 25 minutes to stay in Elkhart instead of South Bend/Mishawaka where we usually stay that has a hot tub that we could have at least enjoyed! The only comment the night staff had was “oh, they must not have updated their site. We haven’t had that for awhile!” The next morning I took a note to the front desk asking about the arcade, the condition of our tub/shower, stating I was going to be leaving for a couple of hours & would like it cleaned. That there were dried buggers on the bar where you’d sit to eat. That we needed trash bags because the 2 cans in the room didn’t have any & she handed me one like it was my job to do. I also asked for clean towels. NOTHING WAS DONE TO CLEAN IT, CORRECT IT, I DIDN’T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY! It was written on a note, with the room number & nothing was done or even offered!! I also saw the price of the room went down by close to $30 a night after I checked in."
"Staff was friendly and helpful. The property was modern and newish but with some much-needed attention. The door on our room 209 closed and locked but didn’t seal properly, where there was about an inch gap at the top so you could hear people outside your room."
