"Beautiful property, very relaxing and quiet. Grounds are very well kept and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better pet friendly stay."

"We've stayed here a few times. I love watching the swallows and honestly their pool tops the ones at the cavalier/the sands. hot tubs nice but could be cleaned more often. All and all the place is really nice, clean and comfortable. "
"Great find of what is probably a historical hotel for the area. Definitely has that historic charm with the high end classic interior. Loved room seating area and we could open windows for fresh air. Only let downs were that we could never find the communal lawn area pictured around a firepit (I question whether this is a local park, not at the hotel). There is no view of the ocean from hotel; the brush has since grown too tall, but you can hear the waves from west side of bldg. Breakfast was the one/only serious underperformance. Waffle irons were the only hot food item (which is fine, it lists “continental brkfast”). But, what was offered was so illogically laid out and it made for impractical foot traffic patterns. More importantly, grade ‘D’ on being kept stocked. All carafes were out of coffee repeatedly. Juice, syrup, bread/bagels… all ran out (and this was at 8:30am, not the end). Made for a lot of frustrated and unhappy guests. Better to just offer coffee/tea and keep those stocked than this. I did laugh that on a credenza right by entry to brkfast area, the hotel had a local directory opened to a page for a nearby breakfast diner. This is a really neat and clean, classy vintage hotel. The lack of good breakfast is not a reason to pass on staying here. But in respect to this beautiful old gem, either uphold that standard or stick to coffee and offer a $10 voucher to a local diner. Do brkfast right or dont do it at all. Guests were NOT happy, espec @$200/nt"
"We love this cute little spot! We've stayed here twice now and it's truly a best kept secret! I love the mountain feel to it. The rooms are super cozy and comfortable and they always keep the light on for us when we arrive late. My favorite spot in Cambria."
"We were welcomed with our dog, for a fee, that we were happy to pay as The Ocean Point Ranch was so accommodating. The rooms have a very homey ranch decor. We loved the ocean cliff area and all the outdoor amenities provided such as fire pits, games (indoor and out) and a pool. It is a large property to walk through and has an easy access to the Moonstone Boardwalk. The Cow Tipper Restaurant is only a breakfast restaurant in case you thought you’d pop over for a later meal or drink. Moonstone’s Grill and Bar is a walk away and the food is awesome. The Hearst Castle parking lot is literally 10 minutes up the highway. The Cambria downtown area is a 5 minute drive with lots of quaint shops and eateries. We need to get back here to see and do more!"
"The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is just across from a walking boardwalk and below is the beach! The views are amazing. The bed and pillows made it comfortable in order to get sleep and rest. No AC but it’s the coast so there’s a nice breeze throughout the day. Recommend you visit. "
