"Great location, I like the functional kitchen (great for families with kids/babies), room was reasonably big, good shower pressure. I was not happy when charged $20 for canceling my last night with more than 48 hours in advance notice and after asking the front desk attendant if I was going to be charged for it and he said no :( Oh well. Plenty of parking spots. "

"We stopped there for a quick night of sleeping on the way from Texas to Minnesota. The staff (owner) was super helpful. Rooms were nice and located close to freeway. Continental breakfast was fair and standard items. Price was fantastic! Walking distance to Dunhams and other stores. We were in Emporia on a Friday night and the town was quiet especially the weekend before finals for Emporia State University students. We expected more excitement downtown."

"Picked this hotel because it had a hot tub, but it was out of order so never got the hot tub. Otherwise, they were very helpful. The room was so quiet we slept in till 10 am."

"There was ample parking and the whole hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly. The only reason why I didn't rate it higher was that the breakfast wasn't worthy of 5 stars. Not to say that it wasn't a good breakfast, just not extraordinary. There were lots of options - yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, bagel, English muffin, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, sausage, bacon. Everything was cooked well. My critique is that hotel scrambled eggs are sort of weird. I thought the value of the room was very well worth it and we will be staying here again."
