"We were there just over the past wknd. Great location to everywhere. The furniture is a bit old style, the floor made a bit of squeaking sound. Just over a night, so, it’s ok to us. The room is quite spacious room with big TV, but we didn’t bother to use it and used our iPhone and iPad instead. The only tiny complaint is that the bathroom floor need to swiped cleaner. Overall, highly recommended. Nice owner couples. We didn’t have breakfast there. We went to bakery nearby instead, nice...

"There was a nice feel to this hotel. It felt homely with it's creaky wooden stairs and beautiful bannister; when we came in late at night and let ourselves in through the big door with a key and crept up the stairs to our room so we didn't disturb any others, it felt like coming home! The staff were kind and smiley. Everything was simple but very clean and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice: fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, smoked salmon, cheeses and breads. "Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was so good- so much choice. Close to Aldi the tram that takes you into centre. The Turkish restaurant (Istanbul restaurant the 2 local Greek restaurants are really good and decent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the chef was such a good character - always offered us a choice of eggs/checked our breakfast was ok and spoke to us gave great recommendations. Absolutely brilliant for our visit to the Zag arena where we watched a concert and trams are very frequent to and from the hotel stop"
