"We fell in love with this little family-run, multi-generational hotel. It's right above the train station in Grindelwald (not the terminal station, but the second and last station on the Grindelwald line). It takes about 5 minutes to walk up from the station. At first we were a bit tentative at check-in because the owner/host was not very friendly. But over time she warmed up to us. The breakfast was wonderful and the views spectacular! We really enjoyed the little back yard area where we could lounge around and take in the 280 degree views of the mountains and valley below. Convenient to shopping, dinning and the ski areas. We would stay again!"
