"Everything was great apart from pillow a bit lumpy and soft. But asked for extras and it came very quick. Would be excellent if there was a set of draws somewhere to put bits in.
Bar needs more staffs when there’s a conference on as I couldn’t get serve, waited at the bar like 15mins, gave up in the end. "

"The hotel is in such a great location-seconds from the train station.
The staff were friendly. Our room was very clean and the bed was really comfy.We couldn’t seem to get our air conditioning working in the room but opened our window a little at night and in March this wasn’t such an issue. I would like a mirror in the bedroom as well as one in the bathroom.
We very much enjoyed our stay though and if you want to stay a little bit out of Amsterdam then this hotel fits the bill. There were trains into the centre every 3/4 minutes and they were always on time!"

"I stayed at XO Hotels Park West from March 18–25, 2026, and it was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had—especially considering the price
The air-conditioning in the room did not work for the entire duration of my stay. Every time I called reception, I was told the same thing: that adjustments were being made and the room would cool within 15–20 minutes. This never happened. I had to keep calling repeatedly, only to receive the same response over and over again.
By day 3, the room had become so uncomfortable that I had to request a pedestal fan just to be able to sleep. For a hotel at this price point, being reduced to using a basic fan instead of proper climate control is simply unacceptable. On top of that, I had to keep the window open due to the heat, which triggered my seasonal allergies and left me feeling unwell for the rest of my trip.
The most disappointing part came at checkout, when I was finally told that the air-conditioning system was not working at all and that technicians were only expected to fix it that day. This directly contradicts everything I had been told throughout my stay. Whether this was due to poor communication or something else, the end result is the same: I was given misleading information for several days while dealing with an unresolved issue.
The hotel gave a 10% refund, which does not come close to reflecting the level of discomfort, lost sleep, and overall negative impact on my stay."
