"Our stay was interesting. The check- in was very smooth. The staff was wonderful! The hotel was older. When we got to our room, I was surprised at the state of it. There were several things that made it seem like the room had been trashed at some point. A drawer was broken, curtains were torn, carpet stained, with a huge bleach mark about 2 feet in diameter. It had a fridge in excellent condition, the bed was quite comfortable. I had read that the pool and jacuzzi were out of commission for about another year, but that was all I saw, and I knew that before we checked in. What I didn't know was that the entire hotel was being renovated. The bathrooms were finished (and we're really great!), and the windows were in process, but the rest of the work had not been completed. We stayed in the room because it was too much trouble to move, and most of the rooms seemed to be about the same as ours. If I had known before I arrived, I wouldn't have been as disappointed as I was. The breakfast was okay, as was the parking. I really liked that most of the parking was covered. We were able to stay at a reasonable rate, but it could have been better with the inconveniences. I would love to stay here when the renovations are completed. Again, the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to help us."

"Upgraded room was terrible. Dresser drawers didn't open. Ceiling fan wobble so you couldn't use it drawers in bathroom were falling apart. Furniture I wouldn't give it to good will. Refrigerated ice maker didn't work. Carpet was frayed in several areas. Bathroom sink drain didn't close. Closet doors wouldn't close or move. Shower curtain was severely stained. The whole unit needs a Upgrade. I normally stay at the Westin.Only reson we changed was because the had a better rating. Staff was pleasant. Wasted a whole day.Beware. Rick Matuska"
