"The cottage was perfect. The location was beautiful and the garden was lovely to sit in. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There were helpful instructions for everything and Gareth was at hand if we needed anything else. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon."
"The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, with comfy and well appointed rooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a fairly good choice. We had a meal in the hotel’s bistro which was really delicious and is thoroughly recommended. Overall, a really enjoyable and comfortable stay."
"Great place to stay - modern and clean and surprisingly spacious. Location is wonderful, close to the beach, cafe and pub - perfect for discovering North Wales - would stay again!"
"Lovely room with great facilities. Close to a choice of local towns with plenty of choice for shops and restaurants. Ideal location for a selection of beaches and lovely scenic walks. "
"The whole hotel was spotless. The rooms were quiet, I slept very well, and the food was amazing. We were visiting from Houston, Texas, and would definitely like to visit again. "
"The lovely cottage was not as clean as it could be. Great location, comfy bed and furniture, finished to a high standard, lovely log burner and decor. "
"Compact but certainly adequate property for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Excellent location for walking to the beach and for traveling the peninsula.
Couple of minor downsides - the garden was close but not necessarily convenient, and could do with instructions for the hob but we eventually managed but not mastered it 🤔"
"We stayed in room 1 and absolutely nothing wrong with it. Looked like it had recently been refurbished. It is self service check in so please read the email you will receive on the morning of your stay. If we do North Wales again, would certainly consider rebooking"
Lowest nightly price found within the past 24 hours based on a 1 night stay for 2 adults. Prices and availability subject to change. Additional terms may apply.
"Hotel was welcoming staff very helpful and room comfortable. Food in bar fantastic, and an excellent choice of drinks. Breakfast I would prefer 1price for all items not cereal separately charged or toast"

"I have to say my wife and I do a fair bit of travelling, so we get to see lots of hotels, B&Bs, private hirings etc. so, I can assure you that our appraisal is fair and honest. Firstly, if you want to be welcomed with a big friendly smile, then stay here. If you want an immaculate room with a comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee, milk and even a couple of bottles of water in the fridge, then stay here.
It’s not just about having the normal things that hotels provide you. It means a great deal more when the owner (Jan) adds those extra touches that you don’t expect, but they mean a great deal when they’re there. We were fortunate to have a couple of chocolate biscuits, cheesy crackers and some complimentary wine in our fridge, I think that’s brilliant, something that doesn’t need to be done, however, it’s great when someone adds those touches, to make you feel welcome.
Victoria House is situated on a quiet street in a perfect location if you want to tour the area; we found parking on the street outside easy so no great concerns there. There are ‘45min limited stay’ signs dotted down the street, however, if you’re staying with Jan then you get issued a pass for 24hrs to place on your dash, this can be renewed every day if you’re there for longer.
I suppose I could write considerably more about this great little place with amazing hosts, but I feel all the other 5 star rating pretty much cover all bases, so would I stay here again…ABSOLUTELY, would I recommend it to others,"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tudor Lodge. Located just around the corner from the town centre it's perfect for visiting Portmeirion or going on the Blenau Ffestiniogg & Welsh Highlands railways. It's also within walking distance of the Harbour.
The staff at the Tudor Lodge were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate & had everything you needed. The breakfast room was beautiful & there was ample choice of food. Free parking was a huge bonus too!"
"Travelled with my family, my only regret was that is was only one night. The room was large and clean, the bathrooms were clean and serviceable. The staff were excellent and the location in the town was great. The restaurant and food was excellent. Highly recommend."
"Lovely hotel in a great location. Coffee, tea and biscuits on arrival which was lovely. The hotel and room was clean and very comfortable. Large lounge which was perfect if you want to play a couple of board games with the kids or just relax. Amazing breakfast with a good choice and the perfect host who was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you."
