"Really most everything was really good. The only complaint we have is about check in and check out. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk and we couldn’t find anyone. We knocked on doors, called the property, and looked every. No response. While we were waiting 2 other guests came in. One of them finally left. Eventually someone came in from outside and checked us in. No apology or apparent concern that we had been waiting. When we checked out, the computers had “apparently been unplugged or something” so we just had to turn in our keys. No receipt or anything. The people in the breakfast room and the housekeeping personnel were very nice and accommodating. As I said, our stay over all was really good, just the problems at the front desk."
"Place always booked full because the rate to room quality is great. I payed $52 nightly for a week and is definitely one of the nicer rooms I’ve stayed in especially for that rate!!"
"My husband went for 2 funerals and brought 2 suits. He left one in the closet after check out. Turned around to get it and it was gone. The room hadn’t even been cleaned yet. One of the staff had a bad attitude, stating it’s not in the trash because they checked. It was an expensive suit and nobody made an effort to get to the bottom of this. Considering the circumstances of the trip, the low to no effort to figure out what happened to his suit was disheartening. Since the room was not yet cleaned and no one else was occupying it, the only logical explanation is staff saw it when they went it after he checked out and took it. Nobody pressed the issue, it was just the attitude that nobody knows anything about it. Very disappointing! We will never return to this hotel again."
"My stay at Andrew Morris House was excellent! The property was as lovely as depicted in the photos. The staff were very friendly (I even got a hug). Breakfast was delicious and filling. I had to miss breakfast one morning due to a commitment, my inn keeper offered to provide breakfast early, I should have taken her offer because breakfast at my meeting was just so so! The location was perfect, easy walking distance to downtown and a short drive to the campus at Northwestern State University."
"breakfast menu was good but wish there were more options for sugar free/low sugar cereal, yogurt skim milk.
Not everyone can eat high sugar cereals and high sugar yogurts etc.
Accessible room worked great with all necessities."
