"The grounds are phenomenal. The views from our room were magical as was the entire property. It is an experience as much as a stay. You are surrounded by beauty and history. The pride of ownership and love of their estate shines through. It is like you are given the keys to your own castle! We rode bikes that they provided around the private estate and into the little village for breakfast the next morning. It was one of our favorite stays on our three week long trip. We stayed in more than 10 Hotels and Chateau’s during this trip and it was definitely a chart topper. The bed was super comfy the room large and well equipped gorgeously decorated and immaculately clean. "

"The receptionist on arrival was lovely and really helpful, the rooms were mostly clean but the floor could have done with a mop. The yoghurt we chose had green mould growing when opened, looking like they had broken the chill chain."
